Bart De Clerck  

Originally from Belgium, Bart brings a diverse background and eight years of maritime experience to the M/Y Moka. Before stepping aboard his first yacht in 2017, Bart spent three years working across Southeast Asia as a dive instructor, developing strong water skills, safety awareness, and a passion for teaching.

Since then, he has worked on a range of vessels ranging from 42m to 135m, gaining extensive experience throughout the Mediteranean as well as the Caribbean and Asia. Bart is skilled in driving large tenders, managing guest transfers, and organising a wide variety of watersports activities. Known for his calm approach, he consistently ensures safe, enjoyable experiences on the water.

  • In his spare time, Bart is always seeking adventure outdoors. He loves hiking new trails, diving whenever he can, and unwinding on long walks with his dog. He keeps active in the gym too—staying fit, energized, and ready for whatever comes next.

  • Bart also runs his own swimwear business, a venture he built from the ground up and continues to grow today. He has a passion for new adventures and is always planting the seeds for an exciting, successful future.

  • Bart loves discovering new places and thrives on the dynamic days that come with the job. He’s always had a natural affinity for the sea and is happiest when he’s in, on, or under the water.
