With more than 20 years of culinary experience, Tobias is an accomplished Head Chef renowned for delivering world-class cuisine to UHNW guests aboard private and charter yachts up to 60 metres. Originally trained in a prestigious 5-star hotel in Germany, he quickly distinguished himself early in his career—winning a top Frankfurt hotel cooking competition and demonstrating a natural talent for refined, international gastronomy.
Tobias brings exceptional expertise with tailored dietary planning, and crafting menus that cater to a wide array of global tastes. His calm leadership under pressure, meticulous galley standards, and creative, elegant plating make him a trusted cornerstone of any yacht’s interior team.
During off-season periods, Tobias has worked alongside 2-Michelin-starred Chef Volker Drkosch, further sharpening his craft and staying at the forefront of modern culinary techniques. His professionalism, versatility, and consistently high standards ensure an unforgettable dining experience for every guest onboard.

He loves fishing and spending peaceful moments by the water, and when winter arrives, he’s always eager to get out on the slopes for his favourite wintersports. He also has a passion for diving, exploring underwater worlds, and hiking, which keeps him active and connected to nature.
Travel is another major interest for him—he enjoys discovering new places, cultures, and experiences around the world. When at home, Tobias finds joy in cooking and experimenting with new recipes. Altogether, these hobbies make his free time varied, engaging, and fulfilling.
